I started playing Snell golf balls when they first came on the market. I’ve always liked the golf ball, but now their new prime 4.0 golf ball is top of the shelf. It’s up there with the best. This golf ball is not for everybody. as indicated on the box but if you wanna golf ball 85 to 90 compression and you have the clubhouse speed this ball is for you , the Snell team under the leadership of Dean Snell are doing something special for the golf world

I have been playing Snell balls for years, but had to move on to a different ball due to durability issues on the prior ball. When these new balls were announced, I was curious if that issue had been addressed. I was assured that it was, so I grabbed a 3.0/4.0 Test Pack as I wasn't sure which one I'd prefer. I pulled a 4.0 out of the box today, shot a 76, and put that very same 4.0 back in the bag ready to go another 18. So much better.
I had been playing the Chromesoft X LS prior, and the Snell 4.0 is much better around the green. I thought I'd miss the softer feel (which is why I thought I might prefer the 3.0) but I did not. The 4.0 feels solid on every shot. Chipping and putting is perfect. Not too much spin off the driver, but a ton of spin of approach shots and chips. Anyone want a couple of sleeves of 3.0s? I'm not playing anything other than the 4.0 any time soon. Great job, Dean.
