PRIME 2.0 golf ball

I have been playing more competitive golf over the past two years and I've seen my handicap drop from the mid 20's to 15-16 range. Being a golfer that values performance but one who is also aware of the cost factor I decided to give the PRIME 2.0 a chance for a few different reasons. 1. I was intrigued with a two-piece urethane covered ball, 2. the cost factor and 3. Knowing Dean Snell's background in golf ball design. I found the ball to perform very well for me, it checked up very nicely on the greens and I found the ball to fly routinely straight. I only had two complaints, one of which is totally on me, Snell is very clear on who this golf ball is designed for, players with a slower swing speed (125 yards or less w/ 7 iron), and knowing my swing speed probably wasn't a good match for this ball I decided to give it chance anyways. With that in mind I found that the ball just didn't get the same distance I was seeing with other premium balls. I think upgrading to the PRIME 3.0 may solve that issue. The other complaint I have is the durability of the ball. I found that it would get marked up quite a bit during a round, some loss of the urethane cover and paint. Other than that the ball at it's price point is tough to beat.
