At 76 my swing speed is pathetic and what I want is a premium urethane cover for feel around the greens.
The PR3's have that in spades and are as long as any other premium ball I have played recently.
It comes down to value and the PR3 is simply a better value than other premium balls.
I'm a used to be 9 handicapper that rarely shoots in the 80's these days .... when I do it is my short game that makes it happen and the PR3 is as good around the greens as any ball I have ever played.

Prime 3
Recently played my first round with the Prime 3 and I’m completely satisfied. It performed as well as the Pro V’s I’ve been playing for years. Performance, feel, and durability easily exceeded any expectations. An excellent golf ball!

PR3 was impressive
Off the driver it was excellent. Great off the irons, was solid to chip with as well.

Truly a big league contender!
I have played two rounds with the 2026 Snell PR3. My gamer ball for the last one and half years has been the 2024 version and recently 2026 Bridgestone ball. Excellent ball for my game. However, the price for the new BRX ball has gone from $44 to $55/dozen. About 7 years ago my favorite ball was the Snell MTB Black. A great ball (even the alignment mark lined up with the seam! - THAT is attention to detail!!) - The Titleist Pro V1 truly is the top of quality in a ball, but even back then it was over $47 and now the 2025 version it hits $58. In 2025 I tried the BRX over the Titleist Pro V1 and found it had less side spin. It truly flew straighter. I have enjoyed playing that ball (at $44). Also tried the Snell Prime 4.0 that had been available, but the durability was not great. Dean Snell is an entrepreneur I want to support, but the durability of the 4.0 meant using more balls, thereby negating any “savings”. Anyway, I understand that Snell Golf has improved the 2026 ball so I am trying the new Snell PR3. I choose PR3 because it seems the direct competition to the BRX - swing speeds below 105. So after two rounds this is my observation. Very good feel, less “clicky” than the BRX. Irons really feel nice on a solid strike. Putter face response is slightly muted compared to the BRX. Again that ball felt “hotter” and more “clicky” off the putter face compared to the PR3 which felt more predictable. Short irons and chipping is a win in the PR3 corner. Certainly more drop and stop…
