I think the test pack was as great as ideal. I tried both the 3.0 and the 4.0 and being 66 with a slower swing speed I got better results from the 3.0. I tried the 4.0 and maybe able to later in the year when the weather warms up I might be able to move the 4.0 better but for now I’m stuck with the 3.0. A great ball with good compression off the tee and low spin to provide me with accurate drive’s between 250-275 yds. Good workability inside 75 yrds. Overall I would rate the ball 8 out of 10.
Great customer service and Snell gets your order out to you in a timely manner. Overall a great ball and good experience.
4.0 flew a little lower…felt firmer…very good ball…& firmer for putting—I liked this
3.0 was softer—thud when hit…softer putting—more difficult—maybe as I like dying putts in…it checked good on greens
I like both…y’all should send me another box of each to continue and confirm results
I've been playing golf for a long time. Played Prov1 up until a couple of years ago, until I just didn't want to pay the price anymore. Been playing the Legato 3085 for a while now, it's a pretty good ball. I got the Tour test pack and it worked very well. Both the 3.0 and 4.0 felt great, no major issues with durability it lasted longer than a lot of "Tour quality golf balls " I've played. Price is very reasonable, so I bought 5 dozen of the 3.0.
I saw the add about how good the golf ball was, I decided to try the Tour Test pack. after hitting them I was very impressed with how that felt. I recommend trying the Test pack to see what ball is best for you.
Played 9 with the 3.0 and 9 with the 4.0 today. I usually play TaylorMade TP5 and 5x. I didn’t see any drop off in distance off the box. The 3.0 I hit straight, which was a problem I play a fade off the box and ended up in the left rough my first 3 drives. Ball tracked well though. A little clicky when putting compared to the softer TP5. The 4.0 definately was longer for me and cut thru the air on a windy day without hesitation. I think I liked the 4.0 off the box better and putting with it mildly better. For the cost, these are it seems every bit as capable as any ball. Recommend giving them a go, the test pack is perfect to gather an opinion.
