I played my first round with my new Prime 2.0 balls last Monday. I kept notes on my card as I played. The results were :
My drive distance increased 10-20 yards on seven holes. I finished with 13 fairways hit, the most I have hit in some time. The balls spin helped with that undoubtedly.
I had four shots from 100 yards in that hit the green and stopped within two feet of my divot which is unusual for me. My balls usually hit the green and roll out 5-20 feet.
I also had some great strikes with my woods and longer irons from the fairway.
Towards the end of the round my playing partner commented, “you’ve been striking the ball really well today”. It’s been awhile since he’s been able to say that. I then told him I was using a new ball and that I was happy with it. His comment to that was, “ you’ve need to buy more of them”.
So, so far so good. Looking forward to my next round and hopefully be able to duplicate the better stats.
