I’m not thrilled nor dissatisfied with this ball. It’s playable. It’s better in warmer weather than cooler weather.

First test of 3.0
I usually play ProV1 but have played the MTB in the past. Always felt MTB was the equal of ProV1. I get 6 dozen ProV1s free per year so haven't bought balls in while. That deal ended this year so looking for an alternative.
Used the Snell guide for choosing balls based on my swing speed. I'm 60s, hit a 7 iron 150-160. First hole of the day using the 3.0 for the first time was a 158yd par 3 (up hill). Knocked it to 8 feet and made the putt. I have an 8.0 index, shot 79.
Driver distance is as good as anything else. Feels good off the irons and around the green is workable. And love the feel on the putter.

First time on the course.
The Snell 3.0 was as good as advertised. It drive good for my swing speed and has good feel around the greens. I just wish I hadn’t lost so many of them.

Don't have to buy as many since I hit them straighter than even ProV1s!

Great Value
Love these. Started looking for a better value golf ball last year as I’ve gotten away from the game and losing a handful of $5 balls every round wasn’t financially feasible any longer. They’re just as long as more expensive options and I’ve felt like they spin well enough for me from 150yds and in. My only knock on them is the cover seems to scuff easily.
